Flexible tape measure (sewing type): precise and easy to use.
Alternatively: a piece of string or paper tape, which can then be transferred to a ruler or rigid tape measure.

Place the tape measure about 2cm above your eyebrows, passing it just above your ears and around the back of your neck.

Make sure the measuring tool is in a horizontal position and resting well on your head, without exerting excessive pressure. Note the measurement in centimeters.

Nolan's advice

Repeat the measurement two or three times to ensure accuracy.
Ask someone to help you to ensure accurate measurement and avoid positioning errors with the tape measure.
If you are undecided between two sizes, it is generally advisable to choose the smaller one, as the internal foam padding of the helmet will settle over time, ensuring a more comfortable fit after a few uses. You can also opt for the smaller size if you prefer a snug fit (racing style) or for the larger one if you want greater comfort (touring/urban style).

Description

For the long-distance rider who demands elite performance, uncompromising safety and impeccable style, the Nolan X-1005 Ultra Carbon it has no rivals. Flagship of our line X-Series, This ultra-premium flip-up helmet combines racing-derived carbon fiber technology with the refined comfort needed for transcontinental travel. It's much more than a helmet: it's a masterclass in engineering applied to luxury tourism.

Elite carbon performance, unmatched comfort:

The resistance of carbon, the lightness of feather: The extensive use of carbon fiber in the construction of the shell drastically reduces the overall weight compared to traditional modular helmets. This results in significantly less neck strain on long, strenuous multi-day trips, while offering the highest level of impact protection.

Aerodynamic elliptical trajectory: Designed for maximum stability at high speeds. When opened, the chin guard rotates on an advanced elliptical trajectory that brings it closer to the shell. This radically reduces the frontal profile, effectively eliminating the fatiguing "sail effect" and turbulence at highway speeds.

Double approval (P/J): Experience total versatility. Fully certified to be ridden as either an open-face helmet (J) or a protective full-face helmet (P), the X-1005 UC adapts effortlessly to scorching summer traffic or high-speed mountain passes.

Smooth "Dual Action" opening: Safety is engineered into every movement. The patented Dual Action double lever opening system allows for easy, fluid and one-handed use, completely eliminating the risk of accidental opening while travelling.

Smooth N-Com integration: Enjoy a silent and connected ride. Designed with a dedicated internal housing for N-Com communication systems, it maintains the helmet's superior aerodynamics, quiet acoustics and excellent weight distribution.
