Recommended equipment

Flexible tape measure (sewing type): precise and easy to use.
Alternatively: a piece of string or paper tape, which can then be transferred to a ruler or rigid tape measure.

Place the tape measure about 2cm above your eyebrows, passing it just above your ears and around the back of your neck.

Make sure the measuring tool is in a horizontal position and resting well on your head, without exerting excessive pressure. Note the measurement in centimeters.

Nolan's advice

Repeat the measurement two or three times to ensure accuracy.
Ask someone to help you to ensure accurate measurement and avoid positioning errors with the tape measure.
If you are undecided between two sizes, it is generally advisable to choose the smaller one, as the internal foam padding of the helmet will settle over time, ensuring a more comfortable fit after a few uses. You can also opt for the smaller size if you prefer a snug fit (racing style) or for the larger one if you want greater comfort (touring/urban style).

Description

Welcome to the next generation of modular versatility. The Nolan N120-1 it is our very first "flip-back" helmet, designed for two-wheel enthusiasts who demand the maximum in terms of aerodynamics, safety and comfort. By allowing the chin bar to rotate a full 180° towards the back of the shell, Nolan rewrites the rules of modular performance — keeping the ride perfectly balanced, whether the helmet is completely closed or open to the elements.

The Flip-Back Revolution, perfected:

Perfect balance at high speeds: Unlike traditional modular helmets that have a "sailing effect" when open, the 180° flip-back design houses the chin guard neatly behind the shell. This radically reduces air resistance, minimizes neck fatigue and maintains an aerodynamic profile on long highway stretches.

Double approval (P/J): Drive with complete peace of mind. The N120-1 is legally certified to be worn both as a protective full-face helmet (P) and as an open jet helmet (J), instantly adapting to the environment or climate changes.

Effortless "Dual Action" opening: Designed for real-world convenience of use, the patented Dual Action chin bar system uses a secure dual-lever mechanism that allows for smooth one-handed operation, preventing accidental opening.

Smart integration: Keep communicating. The N120-1 is fully compatible with N-Com systems, fitting perfectly into the shell to maintain the clean lines and internal silence of the helmet.

Break the mold of traditional modular driving. The Nolan N120-1 brings instant functionality, premium safety and impeccable Italian style to modern riders.
